Mission Statement

The mission of the Mount Zion African Methodist Episcopal Church is to minister to the spiritual, intellectual, physical, emotional and environmental needs of all people by spreading Christ's liberating gospel through word and deed. The Great Commission is presented by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20 and Mark 16:15-16. Our Mission Goals will be achieved through these actions:

The Young Women’s Fellowship will hold a Community Action Round Table, with special guests Kathy Rusch of The Women’s Center and Officer Jaleesa Davis of the Norristown Police Department. This is an informal conversation with members of the Norristown community to identify key issues negatively effecting the young women of Norristown. We encourage Church Leaders, Ministry Leaders, and the congregation to come out for this important conversation. Bring your questions, bring your concerns, and bring your voice!
