Join us this Sunday to learn more about
“What then is Apollos? What is Paul? Servants through whom you believed, as the Lord assigned to each. I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. He who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his wages according to his labor. For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s field, God’s building.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Church family, my husband and I have been talking a lot lately about what it really looks like to “rejoice with those who rejoice” (Romans 12:15). In a world full of comparison and social media highlight reels, this can be surprisingly hard! But when we genuinely celebrate others’ blessings, we reflect the heart of Jesus and strengthen His body.
If one part of the body is honored, every part rejoices with it. (1 Corinthians 12:26)
Here are a few practical ways we can grow in this together:
1. Pause and Pray – When you hear good news (a new baby, a promotion, healing, engagement, etc.), stop and thank God out loud for them right then. It shifts your heart!
2. Celebrate Intentionally – Send a text, drop off a meal, post a congratulatory comment, or take them for coffee. Small actions make a big difference.
3. Be Honest About the Struggle – If envy tries to creep in, bring it to God (and maybe a trusted friend). Don’t let it stay hidden.
4. Remember Who You Are – Our worth isn’t found in comparing ourselves to others. It’s secure in Christ. When that truth sinks deep, rejoicing becomes natural.
Let’s make our church known as a place where people are genuinely celebrated!
💬 Question for you: Who in your life has something worth celebrating right now? How can you rejoice with them this week? Drop their first name (or situation) in the comments so we can pray and cheer them on together!

“But I, brothers, could not address you as spiritual people, but as people of the flesh, as infants in Christ. I fed you with milk, not solid food, for you were not ready for it. And even now you are not yet ready, for you are still of the flesh. For while there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way? For when one says, “I follow Paul,” and another, “I follow Apollos,” are you not being merely human?”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭1‬-‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Tomorrow we begin 1 Corinthians! Can’t wait to see everyone!

“Paul, called by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus, and our brother Sosthenes, To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, that in every way you were enriched in him in all speech and all knowledge— even as the testimony about Christ was confirmed among you— so that you are not lacking in any gift, as you wait for the revealing of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will sustain you to the end, guiltless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
