We're still celebrating and so grateful for everything God did at Reunite last night!! 478 students from across all campuses came together and we got to celebrate 76 students saying YES to Jesus!!! 🙌

Reunite was a reminder that God continues to move within our students and what a privilege it is to worship together, grow together, and stay connected to Jesus together.

Reunite, you were one for the books.🤍

This last week, our VFYTH students went to Colorado to serve the community and the church there. They stepped out of their comfort zones and learned what it looks like to love others like Jesus. Students shared things like, “I want to take this back home and help homeless people” and “This makes me realize how much I have”. We’re so thankful for everything God did this week, and we’re praying these moments continue to shape their lives long after the trip is over.

It’s day 13, the last day of our devotionals for VFYTH! Today we read Proverbs 11 and the impact our choices have on others. If you would like to go deeper into these spiritual practices, head to the link in our bio!

Scripture | Read today’s Bible passage out loud and/or write it out. Today, we are reading Proverbs 11.

Observation | What do you notice about these verses?
What verses, words, or ideas jump out to you?
Which verse do you think you could apply to your life today?
Read this passage of scripture again and ask God to point things out to you.

Application | Ask God how he wants you to apply these verses to your own life.

Prayer | Pray for yourself and/or for others. Ask God to help you be more aware of how you treat the people around you.

It’s day 12 of our devotionals for VFYTH! Today, the primary focus of this practice is kinship and serving those in our community.

Read | Matthew 25:35-36, 40 "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me... Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."

Takeaway | To serve Jesus is to step outside our comfort zones and serve those who look, think, and live differently than we do.

Reflect & Challenge | Prayerfully consider making a commitment to serve those in need in your community outside of your circle of friends. Then, be obedient in what you feel God is putting on your heart.

It’s day 11 of our devotionals for VFYTH! Today, the primary focus of this practice is availability.

Read | Matthew 22:37-39 “Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Takeaway | Loving God with all your heart, soul, and mind means giving Him your undivided attention and devotion. Loving others as yourself is to actively choose to treat people with the same kindness, grace, and respect that you naturally desire for your own life.

Reflect & Challenge | Take 5 minutes to completely lock in with God, no phone, no scrolling and ask Him to fill your heart. Then, share with someone the exact same kindness, and respect, you’d want for yourself.

It’s day 10 of our devotionals for VFYTH! The next few days, we will be focusing on the spiritual practice of service. Today, the primary focus of this practice is hiddenness.

Read | John 13:14-16 “Now that I, your Lord and teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than the one who sent him.”

Takeaway | By washing His disciples' feet, Jesus showed that true leadership starts with humility. When we choose to serve others without looking for credit, it transforms our actions and opens our hearts to let God work within us.

Reflect & Challenge | Find a person in your life to serve in just one small way, not to be seen, but simply to serve.
