What an incredible first youth night of Totus Tuus at St. Joseph Catholic Church!
We were blessed to welcome our Totus Tuus missionaries and gather with our middle school and high school youth for an evening filled with faith, fellowship, prayer, and fun. Tonight’s topic focused on morality and how we are called to live as disciples of Christ in our daily lives.
There is still plenty of time to join us this week!
Come encounter Christ, build new friendships, and grow deeper in your Catholic faith alongside youth from across our parish community.
Please keep our missionaries, volunteers, and young people in your prayers as we continue this exciting week of Totus Tuus!

¡Qué increíble ha sido la primera noche juvenil de Totus Tuus en la Iglesia Católica de San José!
Tuvimos la bendición de recibir a nuestros misioneros de Totus Tuus y reunirnos con nuestros jóvenes de secundaria y preparatoria para una velada llena de fe, fraternidad, oración y diversión. El tema de esta noche se centró en la moralidad y en cómo estamos llamados a vivir como discípulos de Cristo en nuestra vida cotidiana.
¡Todavía hay mucho tiempo para unirse a nosotros esta semana!
Vengan a encontrarse con Cristo, a forjar nuevas amistades y a profundizar en su fe católica junto a jóvenes de toda nuestra comunidad parroquial.

We will bid farewell to Father Irwin, after Vigil mass on Saturday, June 27th, in the Gymnasium. Please join us to show your appreciation for all the pastoral work Father Irwin has done in our parish.
All are welcome to the Farewell party (potluck) sponsored by the Women's Club and the Knights of Columbus. The meet and desserts will be provided. Please bring a side dishes to share with the community of St. Joseph.

During this week, Monday through Friday, daily masses will be in the main Church at 11:30 a.m. We will have confessions only on Wednesday, June 3rd at 5 p.m. at the Chapel.

With great enthusiasm, started the Totus Tutus program for children in grades 1-5 begins. A fun and faith-filled week, dedicated to catechesis, games and coexistence. Mentangalos in their prayers so that the heart of Mary touches each of them.
Con gran entusiasmo comienzó el programa Todo Tuyo para los niños de 1 a 5 grado. Una semana divertida y llena de fe, dedicada a la catequesis, los juegos y la convivencia. Mentangalos en sus oraciones para que el corazón de María toque a cada uno de ellos.

Franz Jägerstätter (1907–1943) was an Austrian farmer, devout Catholic, and conscientious objector during World War II. He refused to fight for N**i Germany because his faith taught him that the regime was evil, which ultimately led to his arrest and ex*****on by beheading.
Despite intense pressure from local priests, his bishop, and even his family to simply take the oath to save his life, he stood by his conscience. He was arrested, imprisoned, and executed by guillotine in Brandenburg, Germany, on August 9, 1943, at the age of 36.
He is officially recognized as a martyr by the Catholic Church and was beatified (the step preceding canonization as a saint) by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007. His feast day is May 21.

Franz Jägerstätter (1907–1943) fue un agricultor austriaco, católico devoto y objetor de conciencia durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Se negó a luchar para la Alemania n**i porque su fe le enseñaba que el régimen era malvado, lo cual, en última instancia, condujo a su arresto y ejecución por decapitación.
A pesar de la intensa presión ejercida por los sacerdotes locales, su obispo e incluso su propia familia para que simplemente prestara juramento y así salvara su vida, él se mantuvo firme en su conciencia. Fue arrestado, encarcelado y ejecutado en la guillotina en Brandeburgo, Alemania, el 9 de agosto de 1943, a la edad de 36 años.
