Islamic Society of Norman, OK Peace be upon you! This is the official page of the Islamic Society of Norman.

The Islamic Society of Norman is a unique, tight-knit community of Muslims with diverse backgrounds from all over the world. It was founded to serve students at the nearby University of Oklahoma and residents of the city of Norman. We host daily prayers, weekly Jummah prayer, and many other social, educational and religious events.

We will have our Eid Picnic this Sunday at Reaves Park!! There will be food and games. We encourage families to bring dessert/tea to share. We hope to see everyone there inshallah!!!

If Eid is on Friday, Eid prayer will be held at Norman Optimist Club at 8:30 am. Please bring your own prayer mats and foldable chairs if you need.

Asalamualaikum! We are excited to host our annual kids’ Iftar tomorrow Thursday, March 5th at 5:30pm* , InshaAllah. Encourage your child(ren) to fast so that they can open their fast(s) with their friends.

We will start at *5:30pm* to hold a program about and to discuss fasting and the month of Ramadan. Please *arrive early* as we only have 30 minutes of reminder-time.
