Service times: Sunday School 9:50 - Sunday Morning Worship 11:00- Sunday Night Bible Study 6:00 - Wednesday Night Youth, TeamKID, Tweens and Twains, and adult Bible Study 6:00 Just a few days prior to our celebration, we were in the midst of Hurricane Gustav, who marched in with 10-12 inches of rain and plenty of flooding. We had approximately 175 people to help celebrate the day, many of which tr
aveled from out of town; one as far away as Illinois. Our ceremony began with Brother Doug baptizing Joseph Stansberry. Mrs. Cloe Entricken read the names of the Charter members. Our speakers were Dale Bowen, Joe Campbell, Billy Dunn, Clayton Sheets and Rob Loudermilk who also read the past pastors and deacons' names. Dr. Emil Turner, Executive Director, Arkansas Baptist State Convention, presented a plaque to the church for 100 years of ministry and then preached and inspiring message. Betty Williams led the choir and congregation in singing Shall We Gather at the River, There's A Land, Because He Lives, Victory in Jesus, Just As I Am and When We All Get To Heaven. Our choir sang Holy Ground and Rodney Standridge sang Beulah Land for our music specials. Jay Dee Standridge did an excellent job as our pianist. After the service, a group picture was taken by the Bell Tower, and then lunch was served. The church provided the brisket from Ron's Bar-b-q at Caddo Gap and a huge cake from Walmart. There was so much food, it was impossible to eat a bite of everything! We are thankful the Lord truly blessed us this day with an awesome celebration. We greatly appreciate everyone who attended to make our day special. Thank You and May God Bless You!" by: Mildred Moore
