Today we pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

Their sacrifice reminds us that the liberties we enjoy, including the freedom to worship and gather in community, are never without cost. Today, we pray for the families carrying the weight of that sacrifice, and we thank God for their loved ones’ bravery and devotion.

It’s easy to trust God when life is good.
