Today at Christ Church, we gathered to worship, and Elder Josh Walker taught from Psalm 139 as we finished our time in the Psalms.

Psalm 139 teaches us that God knows us completely, is always with us, made us with care, and is the only one who can judge perfectly. Because He already knows everything about us, we can honestly bring Him our thoughts and feelings and ask Him to search our hearts and lead us.

Next Sunday, we begin a new sermon series through the parables of Jesus!

Today at Christ Church, we gathered to worship and continued through the Psalms with Psalm 46.

Psalm 46 teaches us that God is not distant. He is our safe place, our strength, and our help when trouble comes. Even when the world feels like it is falling apart, we do not have to live in fear. God is with us, He is in control, and He will put an end to evil.

We can be still, know that He is God, and trust the future He has promised His people.

“The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah” — Psalm 46:11

It was a great Sunday at Christ Church! We worshiped together, and Pastor Chad taught from Psalm 90.

Psalm 90 teaches us that God has always been and always will be, but our lives are short. Because our days are limited, we should use them for what matters most. We should seek wisdom instead of success, stop letting small things consume us, invest in the next generation, and tell others about Jesus while we can.

“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” - Psalm 90:12
