A need comes up in our community. A child needs a bed. A family needs clothing. A neighbor needs help with a small home repair.
Until now, responding often meant a string of emails, texts, and phone calls trying to find the right person who could help. CarePortal gives us a better way.
CarePortal is an online tool that will help McFarlin see real, practical needs in Norman and connect those needs with people in our church who want to help. Signing up doesn’t mean saying yes to everything. It simply means you can be notified when needs arise, and when you have the time, resources, or gifts to respond, there’s an open door to do so.
You can even choose the kinds of needs you want to hear about, whether your heart is for supporting schools, helping families facing homelessness, providing clothing and household items, using construction skills, or something else. Sometimes you’ll be able to help. Sometimes you won’t. But each notification is also a reminder that there are people right here in our community who need neighbors willing to care.
This is one more way we can be love, share love, and shine love as we live out our mission of Changing Lives That Change the World.
