We still have a few spots to read to kids for Project Transformation! Sign up today and make a difference in some kids summer.

We are partnering with Project Transformation, a ministry of the Oklahoma United Methodist Church, to help children grow in reading, confidence, and relationships through literacy support, enrichment activities, and caring mentorship by connecting children, college-age young adult leaders, churches, and volunteers to create spaces where kids are encouraged, supported, and empowered to thrive.

Volunteer Details
* Dates: June 29, June 30, and July 1
* Time: 9:45am–12pm
* Volunteers must be 14 years old or older
* Transportation provided from McFarlin via church vehicle
* Departure from McFarlin @ 8:30am
* No experience required
* Training provided

Update on our current situation:
We are having one joint worship in sanctuary where our youth choir and mission team are going to present on their trip while our bells and band will lead music alongside our sanctuary music team!

Elevators are still out, and dress for warm weather—no one will judge you for your sandals!

A local transformer blew last night during the storm. We will still have worship and have much power, though our elevators are not functioning and WiFi and livestream cameras are not working currently.

Did you know Norman Public Schools is providing free breakfast and lunch for children all summer long? From June 1–July 31, kids can enjoy nutritious meals at several locations across Norman—no school enrollment required.

Breakfast: 7:00–9:00 a.m. // Lunch: 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.

Meals are available Monday–Friday (closed Saturdays and Sundays).

As summer schedules settle in, we know food access can become more challenging for some families. Please help spread the word so every child in our community has access to a healthy meal this summer.
