It is with great sadness that the American Union announces the loss of Idel Suarez, Sr. The father of Pastor Idel Suarez has gone to his rest at the age of ninety-two. Since Sunday, the Suarez family has kept vigil by his bedside. His final hours were peaceful. He was surrounded by those who loved him most. His wife, sons, daughters-in-law, and six grandchildren sang hymns and prayed as he peacefully slipped away. "The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD." Job 1:21. Please keep the Suarez family in your prayers.

On Sabbath, October 4, a special Sabbath School Offering will be collected in the American Union to help Orion Christian Academy enlarge its ministry to children and families within the United States. During the last twelve years, eleven students have been baptized, and eight students have graduated. Six of those graduates are now either pursuing or completing their degrees. May God bless you for your support and your prayers!
