These boys are best friends! There's no drama or ego, just a team where every player embraces his role and performs it to the best of his ability.

The Tri-Valley community showed its incredible support during Homecoming Week, celebrating the baseball team with a Walk of Champions pep rally, a float in the community parade, fan buses, and teachers cheering them on at their game. It was a wonderful reflection of a community that loves its kids and its school!

✹ 4. What Is One Thing Everyone Should Know About This Team?

These boys are exemplary students, athletes, and people. Their faith is central to their relationships, from praying together before games to gathering for FCA huddles on Friday mornings. Their coaches, parents, and teachers are incredibly proud of the young men they are becoming.

To every individual, family, church, and business that partners with North Central Illinois FCA throughout the year: thank you! Your faithful giving, prayer, and encouragement makes ministry possible every day of the year and every season of the sports calendar.

Because of you:
✅ Huddles meet each week in schools across our area

⛳ What a day on the course! ⛳

THANK YOU to everyone who came out for the 2026 North Central Illinois FCA Golf Outing at El Paso Golf Club! With 120 golfers, 30 teams, and a beautiful fall day with a little weather to keep things interesting 😅, it was a blast from the first tee to the final putt.

“Total Athlete Camp” challenges today’s student-athlete in a way most don’t expect when they arrive. From early morning workouts to late night discussions, the physical mental and spiritual training is all focused on honoring God with our gifts and abilities and we are grateful for everyone that poured in time and energy for the sake of the gospel!

New this year, we were excited to welcome Mike Jirik, co-founder of WooshBall, to Total Athlete Camp.

“WooshBall is the ultimate game-changer, providing an action-packed experience that’s accessible to all players, no matter their skill level. With innovative rules that keep things fresh and exciting, WooshBall will surely leave everyone feeling energized and having a blast!

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Total Athlete Camp in Jacksonville, IL at Illinois College.

Athletes and coaches gathered with one purpose: to discover what it truly means to do sports God’s way and to train physically, mentally, and spiritually.

We competed hard, laughed often, built lifelong friendships, and made memories that will last for years.

Sports were never meant to be our identity. They are a platform to glorify God, influence others, and pursue excellence with humility, integrity, serving, and teamwork.

As everyone heads back to their teams, schools, and communities, our prayer is that camp doesn’t become just another great week of the summer. May it be the starting point of a lifetime of following Jesus and competing for an audience of One.

Thank you to every camper, coach, huddle leader, volunteer, donor, and staff member who made this week possible. Your investment is making an eternal impact.

Total Athlete Camp Day #2 is coming to a close.

These athletes are putting in the work, overcoming adverse conditions, and digging in deep in more than one way. For the past 2 days they’ve been challenged physically, emotionally, intellectually, but most important spiritually.

“You’re on one side of the road or the other
 you’re either in or you’re out
 you’ll end up dead like roadkill if you just stay in the middle (of the road).” - Ron Brown, paraphrased.

It’s been an incredible first two days and we’re ready for what’s in store for tomorrow’s final day!!

We packed A LOT into Day #1 of camp!!!

Camp picture, Doing Sports Gods Way foundational training, zoom call with Cardinals player JJ Wetherholt, a HOT workout on the Illinois College football field, and wrapping up with evening chapel session.

Total Athlete Camp is just getting started and these campers are crushing it! More importantly, they’re learning what it means to be totally released, fully surrendered, to Do Sports Gods Way.
