John 3:1-8 NIV - Jesus Teaches Nicodemus
Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.”
3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”
5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. 7 You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

Nicodemus comes to Jesus at night. We are not sure if he was trying to hide his visit from the council or his friends or just quiet time with Jesus. Nicodemus sees that God is with Jesus because of His amazing signs, miracles that He had done. Jesus shifts the talk from physical life to a clean slate given by God. What it means to be born again. Physical birth makes human life, but God's Spirit makes spiritual life. Just as you feel the wind without knowing its path, the Holy Spirit moves in unseen ways. He speaks to our hearts and minds guiding us and sometimes we don’t listen. Please open up your heart today and see the amazing things God has done. It could be something you lived through that you shouldn’t have or a situation he brought you through that you didn’t think was possible. Let him lead you today, repent and be baptized. We love you, God loves you and we will be praying for you!

Hosea 6:1-3 KJV - Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Hosea 6:1-3 NIV - Come, let us return to the LORD.
He has torn us to pieces
but he will heal us;
he has injured us
but he will bind up our wounds.
2 After two days he will revive us;
on the third day he will restore us,
that we may live in his presence.
3 Let us acknowledge the LORD;
let us press on to acknowledge him.
As surely as the sun rises,
he will appear;
he will come to us like the winter rains,
like the spring rains that water the earth.”

Our message today talks about returning to the Lord. He will heal you, restore you and revive you! For some it’s been a long time since they came to church. You may have been hurt by someone in church, you may have felt nothing going to that church but don’t let that separate you from God. Find a good church who makes you feel welcome. Have a blessed day and if you are in our area feel free to come visit us.

Sermon today "Peace with God"
Romans 5:1-6 KJV
1. Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2. By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4. And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
5. And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
6. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Romans 5:1-6 NIV "Peace and Hope"
5 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. 6 You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.

May God bless those reading along with us today. May you find peace in God and continue your journey with the Bible. There is so much more to discover. Check back next week for our next scripture message or if you are in the area looking for a Church feel free to come and visit us!

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms and mother figures! We hope your day is filled with relaxation, appreciation, and plenty of well-deserved treats. Thank you for remembering all the little things we need reminding of, finding things that need to be found, playing a nurse when we have booboos, finding funds when we need to join that sport or club.
