AGCCC is a non-denominational, and culturally blended church in the Hampton Roads area. We have a contemporary style of worship and are a Bible-based, inclusive and affirming church for ALL PEOPLE! Our church started over 30 years ago on Labor Day, September 5th, 1993 under the leadership of the late James Downing. Afterwards, the church started meeting in a strip mall near Mount Trashmore in Virg
inia Beach. The church quickly outgrew that location and in December 1995 moved to our current location at the "OutRight Building" on Granby St. Later we were joined in this building by Tidewater AIDS Crisis Taskforce (TACT), which Pastor Jim and his spouse, the late Jim Spivey also led. The church continued to grow when the church merged with God's Other Sheep Ministries in 2013 with Pastor Terri Wade-Stancil. Also, Open Arms Outreach Ministries merged with AGCCC in July 2017 with Pastor Christopher Winston. Open Arms functioned independently before that since February 2014. We welcome all people from all background, races, economic background, affectional/sexual orientations/gender identities. We aim to see lives that have been broken by the power of sin to be changed by the power of God! ALL ARE WELCOME!
