Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles (Romans 1:5a)

As a result of the resurrection of the Son of God, we receive grace. When we receive grace, it is always followed by a calling. This calling is always a calling to call others to experience the same grace. That is how the Kingdom of God grows.

Many people love the idea of receiving grace, but they always have an excuse to reject the calling of God. This was the same with Paul’s own people: the Jews. They loved the idea of God’s love, compassion, and mercy, but they rejected the call that this kind of God necessarily made upon their lives: to share this message with the nations and to reflect these qualities in their own dealings with others. Instead, they tried to monopolise the grace of God for themselves.

Grace is always followed by a calling to call others to experience the same grace.
The problem is that when you keep grace for yourself and you don’t share it with others, you lose the grace that you have been given. This is what happened to most of the Jewish people in the time of Jesus.

In Paul’s case, when he received grace, he also received a special call to become an apostle to all the Gentiles. God similarly has a special mission for every one of his children, though it be viewed as humble or glorious in the sight of the world.

Spiritual Application

I remember that when I was young, I considered sharing the Gospel with others as something to be avoided. Where are you at today? Reflect on this question: Do you see sharing the Good News as a chore or a joy? The difference comes down to all about whether you have understood the grace of God or not.

And you also are among those Gentiles who are called to belong to Jesus Christ (Romans 1:6).

The calling which we have all received is the calling to belong to Jesus Christ. The idea behind the language of “belonging” goes back to how he introduces himself in verse 1, as a “slave of Christ Jesus.”

If you think about it, the idea of a person actually belonging to someone else is very foreign and shocking to us. However, in ancient Rome, where the recipients of this letter lived, one in every three people were owned by someone else. Across the whole of the Roman empire, the proportion of slaves may have been around one in every five people. So the idea of belonging to someone else in a literal was a very common notion back then.

The calling which we have all received is the calling to belong to Jesus Christ.
We, who have given our lives to Jesus Christ, because he has given his life to us, actually belong to him in the most real sense. We have been bought by the blood of Christ (1 Pet. 1:18–19) and he has redeemed us to set us free:

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free (Gal. 5:1.)

This isn’t the slavery of bo***ge; it is the slavery that brings freedom. Don’t be fooled by the deceptions of the world. The only true freedom lies in serving Jesus from a heart of gratitude and joy.

YOUR MOUTH IS A WEAPON
(THE POWER OF DEATH AND LIFE ARE IN THE TONGUE)!!

"Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth: thou shalt thresh the mountains, and beat them small, and shalt make the hills as chaff"
(Isaiah 41:15)

In Joshua 1:2-3, The LORD said to Joshua: “….now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you.” Thus, by this instruction the children of Israel knew that all they had to do to take possession of the land God gave to them was to step on it. Once they stepped on it, it became theirs.

But in the New Testament, there’s a difference.
The power isn’t in your feet,
but in your mouth. Many Christians haven’t understood this truth,so they walk in ignorance. When trying to acquire something, like a piece of property for example, you’ll find them marching around it because the LORD said, “Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you.” Oh, that they would realize that the victory is now in their mouth!
Today, it’s no longer “Where the soles of your feet shall tread upon” rather, it’s “you shall have what you say!” Possession is with your mouth.
(Mark 11:22-24)!

Of course this does not preclude good planning,
good fiscal management and diligence in proper financial discipline!

The Old Testament people were taught to battle that way because they functioned in the sense (physical) realm. But now in the New Testament, we battle differently,
we battle from the realm of The Spirit. In this realm, there is no recognition of distance; you don’t need to march around a building to get it.
You use your mouth-it has been given to you to chart your course and to do battle!

O how important the words we speak are!

Every time you release words with your mouth, you’re wielding a dangerous weapon.
The Greek word for mouth is “stoma”, which means “the front or edge of a weapon.” With this weapon, you can cut down such enemies as poverty, failure, cancer, diabetes, HIV and so on. When you declare: “This growth will not stay in my body,” you’re cutting it down with your weapon. No wonder the Bible says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds” (2 Corinthians 10:4)

use the words coming out of your mouth to chart out a glorious future for self-and generations to come!

We talk a lot about letting go of the past, forgiving the people that hurt us, not reliving disappointments. That’s important. But sometimes it’s hard not to think about what went wrong. You wake up, and that heartache comes to mind. Throughout the day, you want to be happy, but you feel that heaviness reminding you of the loss, the sickness you’re dealing with, the addiction. We try to tune it out, but it’s an ongoing struggle. There will be a day where God is going to cause you to forget. God is going to make up for it in such an amazing way that you’re not going to remember the pain of the past.

Sometimes we feel overlooked, undervalued, forgotten. These times of isolation, where you’re not being celebrated, are extremely valuable. Nothing is changing on the outside, but something is happening on the inside. Your character is being developed. You’re learning to not depend on people. You’re gaining experience, maturity, strength that you’ll need to go where God is taking you.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS=
GREAT RESULTS!

Stand still and see this great thing the LORD is about to do before your eyes!

Beloved,
There's been a lot of negativity in the atmosphere of late.

So many negative things are being said concerning our Nation's spiritual, financial and social condition.
Some of the negativity is directed at our individual and personal lives!

Sadly,
Most of what is being said is true!

But for us children of the most high God,we will not join the world and naysayers in being negative!

Our hope and trust is in the LORD God Almighty!
We stand our ground and intercede for our Nation

Ezekiel 22:30a)-
and our individual lives!

We will stand still and see the GREAT things the LORD will do on our behalf!

THERE IS A SOLUTION-
GOD MAKES YOU VICTORIOUS!

"But this is only a simple thing for the LORD,
for he will make you victorious
[over the army of Moab]!"

The three Kings were in an impossible situation!
They had marched for seven straight days to war-and here they were-
in a dry valley,tired,hungry and out of food and water for self,their armies and their animals!
And it could only get worse-
they were right at the enemy's doorstep!
Down there in the valley,
totally exposed to the enemy,
they knew there was was only one likely outcome to their misadventure-
total annihilation!

They were completely at the mercy of the enemy-
All the well fed fit enemy had to do was descend into the valley and wipe the tired,hungry and thirsty Kings and their all,off the face of the Earth!

A catastrophic,
Holocaust, impossible situation faced our three Kings-
there seemed no way out-
Untill Elisha looked up to the LORD!

There is always a solution when we lift our eyes from ourselves and our situations and look to the LORD!

The LORD not only meets our present need,
but also leads us into triumph over the enemy (2 Corinthians 2:14)!

What dry valley(s) are you in today?

Is it spiritual,
Financial,
Domestic,
Social,
Material......?

Whatever valley it is,
However impossible the odds stacked against you,
I decree and declare a solution out of it in the mighty name of Jesus!
As you look up to Jesus in prayer and call upon his name,
I decree and declare destruction to the very foundation of your challenge in Jesus name!

You are transitioning from poverty,debts and borrowing to a financial giver and lender-
A financial giant in Jesus mighty name!

Divine health is your portion-
Never is sickness and disease to be mentioned in your life in Jesus mighty name!

You are spiritually revived-
spiritual gifts are operating in your life and your are a tremendous blessing to the church,
the body of Jesus Christ in Jesus name!

The fruit of the spirit is being manifested in your life in Jesus name!

You are transitioning from always being on the prayer line and handing in prayer requests to being a solution and answered prayer to many-in Jesus name!

Your testings,trials, tribulations and negative experiences are being turned into uplifting and encouraging testimonies to the nations-in Jesus mighty name!
