The header above Psalms 105 in my AMG Key Word Study Bible reads “God Takes Care of Hls People. As I was reading this morning verse 4 jumped out at me. Is seeking God what facilitates Him taking care of us? I would say, absolutely.

I break this verse in three parts. Seek the Lord, (seek) His strength and seek His Face.

Seek = to consult, enquire, worship in prayer.

1) Seek His will, ways, counsel, and direction.

2) Seek his strength. The implication here is that I am depending on Him and not my own Strength.

3) Seek His face - for this we can go back to Psalms 27:4. To seek His face is to dwell (abide) in His presence.

He will take care of us, and does take care of us. But we have a part to play. For example, all of the promises in Psalms 23 are true and applicable to the sheep of His pasture (Psalms 100:3). But we have to follow the shepherd and obey His voice to receive the benefit.

This was the last night of VBS. We have had an awesome week. These kids were amazing this week!! We have had 3/4 of our youth and young youth to get saved and receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost in the last 2 yrs or less. Another one received the HG 2 Sundays ago. So this VBS was fitting for our kids. They are also reaching out and witnessing to people and that’s exciting. They are bringing them to church. So keep our youth and church in your prayers. Hope you’ve enjoyed seeing our church and our VBS!!!

More VBS 2025

ECGL VBS is going strong on day 4!! The overall theme is , what the Holy Ghost gives us power to do: love; obey; understand all truth; power to be a part of the Body of Christ and power to do what is right!!!
We have a lot of kids this year and we’re loving every night. Our youngest vbs little one is just 2 weeks old and she has her vbs shirt also to show she’s a part!! They are such wonderful children with lots of energy. Fun lessons, arts and crafts and music. The skits are so great with powerful messages for the kids and young Christians about what the power of the Holy Ghost does for us and what it gives us power to do. Cute skits. Great lessons. Great music and praying at the end of each night for the kids. We’ve had quite a few get saved and receive the Holy Spirit over the last two years. This has really changed the younger and older youth in our assembly. Our closing program will be Sunday evening at I believe 5 pm. (EST).

We are thankful today for the men and their families,willing to lay their life on the line and birth a nation where we can worship our God as we feel led.

Also our military who continues to defend those freedoms set into motion by the bravery and action of those founding fathers.
