Our Senior Pastor: Reverend Mark R. NLMCC is proud to be part of the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches - UFMCC that is often referred

to as the "Human Rights" church. UFMCC is the world's largest and oldest LGBTIQ affirming church. NLMCC is very mindful that often times LGBTIQ people are subject to many forms of discrimination. NLMCC affirms the gift of each person's Spirituality, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Gender Expression as God's incarnating presence within and among us. NLMCC is a teaching church and is very interested in helping you along on your spiritual journey. New Life's strength comes from our collective and individual relationships modeled on the life, teachings and resurrection of The Christ. It is our joy to be faith filled disciples. Take a moment for yourself and look at the various types of volunteer ministry groups in which you might like to participate. Out In The Community Ministries:

MEALS 2 GO - preparing hundreds of meals monthly for HIV/AIDS clients. SOCIAL AND FUN - Join NLMCC for "Game Night", lunch after service and other fun things. DOMINICAN REPUBLIC OUTREACH - Save your change and feed a child in the DR. Visit the DR and help the kids. In The Spirit Ministries:

CREATIVE ARTS - Sing and play in the praise band.

Today, the MCC Denomination pauses in profound sorrow, fierce love, and sacred remembrance as we mark the anniversary of the Pulse nightclub tragedy.

Ten years ago, a space of sanctuary, joy, and authentic self-expression for the LGBTQ+ community, especially our Latinx siblings, was shattered by an act of horrific violence. Today, we hold the 49 beautiful souls who were lost close to our hearts. We pray for their families, the survivors who carry the physical and emotional scars, and the entire Orlando community.

As a church born out of the struggle for LGBTQ+ liberation, MCC knows that our response to hate must always be an abundance of love and an unwavering commitment to justice. We refuse to let fear silence our joy. We refuse to let hatred dim our light.

Memorial Day - Labor Day @ 6:30 p.m. Weekly this summer through August Community Beach Park, 700 E. Ocean View Ave. Bring your beach chair & beverage & join us (take Chesapeake Blvd. to Ocean View, turn left and you are there). ***Rain plan – if it rains, we still meet in the beach parking lot and just go eat!

Food Rescue Initiative
June 11, 2026
12:30 - 1:30 & 5:30 - 6:30 Distribution every Thursday. Food donation available to everyone. Volunteers requested to assist in unloading, organizing, and distribution.

Pride in the ‘Peake
June 14, 2026
12:00 - 5:00 at Chesapeake City Park in Chesapeake. NLMCC will be represented. We are looking for volunteers to assist.
