We’ve learned that American Samoa Governor, The Honorable Lemanu Palepoi Sialega Mauga, First Lady Ella Mauga, and staff will be in Washington, DC for meetings over the next couple of weeks. While in the area, the Governor hopes to visit the Toas and their families in the DC and Ft. Bragg areas.
According to his staff, Governor Lemanu will be making a stop in Fayetteville, NC and attend church at the CCCAS in Fayetteville (Fort Bragg) on Sunday, January 29 – Church service starts at 11:00 a.m. Time is allocated after the service for a townhall styled Q&A visit with the Toas and their families. Anyone in the Fayetteville area or in the neighboring States and towns that wish to attend, the address to the CCCAS Fayetteville is 6252 Camden Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306.
On Sunday, February 5, Honorable Governor Lemanu plans to attend church at our local Samoan Congregation in Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, VA. Worship service starts at 10:00 a.m., at Old Post Chapel (204 Lee Ave, Fort Myer, VA 22211). Everyone attending church will have the opportunity to greet and hear Governor Lemanu during a townhall Q&A promptly after service.
