To the Erebia and Jaramillo Family
The St. Ann's Cemetery Association would like to extend our deepest condolences on the loss of one of our family members, Louis Erebia.
Mr. Erebia was a pillar of the community, a devoted husband, a loving father, and a genuinely kind and decent man. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and support others whenever needed. His presence, generosity, and dedication to those around him will be remembered by many.
During this difficult time, please know that your family is in our thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort in the memories you shared and strength in the love and support of family and friends.

I have learned so many different things from each of them, and I truly enjoy watching their techniques, discoveries, and dedication to their purpose. Their work has helped inspire many of the projects we do at the cemetery.

Behind the scenes, there are many tasks that help keep our cemetery looking its best. Some volunteers mow the grass, some spray along the fence lines, and others spread ant killer and granules to help keep the stickers and weeds under control.
Today, we'd like to recognize one of our dedicated members who generously gives his time and hard work to help maintain the cemetery. His efforts often go unnoticed, but they make a big difference in keeping this historic resting place looking cared for and respected.
Thank you for your dedication and for all you do to help preserve our cemetery.

I have 1 hour and 40 minutes to get home, so while I’m on the road, how would y’all like to help solve a few mysteries?
I’ll be posting a few photos, and I need extra eyes to scan for any letters, numbers, names, dates… anything you might be able to make out. Every tiny detail is a small piece of a much bigger story.
Sometimes one letter is all it takes to help identify someone who has been forgotten for years.

I have 1 hour and 40 minutes to get home, so while I’m on the road, how would y’all like to help solve a few mysteries?

This small stone got lifted as well today, and it looks so much better than being sunken into the ground.
One interesting surprise was the piece that pulls up on top. Luckily, I didn’t stick my hand in there because Ester found a scorpion 🦂 hiding underneath and took care of it real quick.
All in all, we are really happy with how this lift turned out. Every little step helps preserve these stones and gives them the respect they deserve.

Another mystery stone we have been working on. We kept cleaning and cleaning, but no engravings would appear. Since it was leaning quite a bit, we decided to carefully straighten it up.
Well… look how much was buried underneath.
We sprayed and washed the stone, so now we wait and hope that, with time, some information begins to appear for this person. Every stone has a story, and we are determined to help tell it once again.
