Praise God, the COVID situation in Colombia has improved and more restrictions have been lifted! Here’s an update from Edison Florez, pastor of one of our partner churches:

“Thanks be to the Lord, the activities of Calvary Church have relaunched with a lot of enthusiasm. Currently the ladies are meeting once a month, the youth every 15 days, and we recently started a Bible study with the kids and adolescents of the church’s “Sowing Life” children’s foundation.”

A new church has been planted in the Korona neighborhood of Burkina Faso, and the Lord has provided a pastor to shepherd the flock there! Please join us in praying that God would guide and strengthen both Pastor Gedeon Kambou and the church family he is now leading, rooting and establishing them in the love of Christ (Ephesians 3:17).

At Generations, we wholeheartedly believe that God is "able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think" (Ephesians 3:20). His plans for our lives, our church family, our community, and our world are immeasurably greater and more glorious than what we would ever dare hope for.

The testimony of both Scripture and church history is clear: God is most pleased to move in power when his people humbly cry out to him in fervent, persistent prayer. We long to develop this kind of culture at our church, and one of the ways we do this is through our weekly prayer focus. Urgent prayer request from Pastor Felix of Burkina Faso:

"Pray for our brothers at Alidougou church. The village was threatened by armed men and the church members all left the village, leaving behind their houses and fields. Pray for these Christians. Thank you."
