The sounds of camp:

Cheers that echo across the field, worship filling the room, and a campfire bringing everyone together. Camp has many different sounds - big and small - but the best one might be the sound of lives being changed 💛 God is so, so good.

PROCLAIM: Because He Lives in Me!

“Proclaim” was our theme for GMI this year - we prayed that these kids would understand the importance of having Jesus at the center of our lives and that is it our job to tell others about Him and all He has done.

God has given each and every one of them a beautiful gift, and this morning we got to see them proclaiming that God is good and deserves ALL the glory!

Every kid at GMI picks a major AND an elective to learn during the week, and Friday night these guys got to perform what they had learned from their elective class!

From drumming buckets to playing the guitar for the first time, these kids have been putting in their all this week, and it showed!!

Band, chorus, creative arts… oh my! 🪊🥁🎶🩰🎭

It’s been an incredible week so far at GMI! From sight-reading music to memorizing scripts to dance technique, our students have been learning, growing, and using their God-given gifts in amazing ways. We’re so proud of their hard work and grateful for our outstanding instructors who have poured into them all week.

What a blessing it is that God gives each of us unique talents - and GMI is all about learning how to use those gifts for His glory! 🙏

Come check out a camp tip from Daniel!

TIP #1: If you’re bringing snacks to camp YOU MUST bring an air-tight container to put them in to avoid any pests from getting into the cabin. If you don’t bring one, you can’t bring snacks 🤷🏼‍♀️
