Meet Nya Speller! We’re so excited to have her as our Creative Arts special guest for GMI! 💃🏻

Nya serves as the Creative Arts Director for the Empire State Division in the Eastern Territory and is also a member of the territory’s dance company, Move! We’re thrilled to have her teaching our Advanced Dance major and elective classes this summer ☀️

Here is a little note from Nya introducing herself:

I truly value quality time. You’ll most often find me making memories with my fiancé and family, whether it’s something big or just enjoying the little moments together. I love getting outside for peaceful walks on a sunny day, especially when I can just slow down and take everything in.
I enjoy staying active and doing things that bring me joy, like spending time with friends and deepening my connection with God. Those moments keep me grounded the most.
My favorite color is red because it represents both a fiery passion and a deep sense of love, which I feel really reflects who I am.

When it comes to drinks, I’ll always choose tea over coffee, especially a cozy hot chai latte or a refreshing iced one!

Fun fact: I’m all about balance! Whether it’s faith, fun, or family, I love creating a life that feels full, meaningful, and joyful.
