This Sunday at Norcross First, we’ll be hearing from Robert Viera. Pastor Robert will teach from Matthew 22 and Leviticus 19 as we discover what it truly means to love God and love our neighbor.
We’ll consider an important question: Can people see Christ in the way I live and love?

One fallout from the storm last weekend: We had no internet connectivity to transmit our Sunday worship service on Oct. 11!

Pastor Max Wilkins wanted to share some sermon notes and an audio clip of (most of) his Oct. 11th sermon with you so we can all walk together through his sermon series on The Disciple's Prayer. Please see notes from--and listen in to--his 3rd teaching in the series, "Thy Kingdom Come."

SERMON NOTES:
Jesus talked about the Kingdom of God more than almost anything else.
The Kingdom of God is in the midst of you–yet we can go years in church without hearing any teaching about the Kingdom.
The Kingdom is intended to be a very present reality in our lives.

Jesus gives us a definition of the Kingdom in the Disciple's prayer: The Kingdom of God is wherever God’s will is being done on earth in the same manner it is being done in heaven.

How are things in heaven? The Bible gives glimpses:
Economics: Rev. 7:15-16; Amos 9:13
Politics: Isaiah 2:4
Beauty: Rev. 21:21
Security: Rev. 21:25
Family Life: Luke 1:17
Nature of Life: Isaiah 55:12
Good news! The Kingdom is here and now. Mark 1:14-15
Today, there are other kingdoms that vie for our allegiance–but one day, there will be only one Kingdom.

The Keys to the Kingdom:
The Kingdom comes where God’s name is hallowed and where His will is done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Pray that the Kingdom comes into your life. Starting now!
Pray the Kingdom into your relationships.
Pray that the Kingdom comes in all the world.

Let us never hear: “You did a lot Norcross First, but you forgot to build MY Kingdom!"
Let’s become Kingdom builders. Thy Kingdom come!
