Gwinnett is Great Water Tower For all those from far and wide who have come to appreciate the simplicity of the message of the water towers off I-85 near the Jimmy Carter exit.

along with its compatriot the Success Lives Here Water Tower, warmly welcome the Venerable Brethren (and their dog) who are making their Walk of Peace into Gwinnett. May these Buddhist monks evoke compassion and generosity from those who surround them, and may they rest peacefully at the Wat Lao Buddha Khanti Temple in Snellville, where everybody is somebody.

reminds those who work, live, play, and yes, demonstrate in Gwinnett that exercising a First Amendment right is at some times not only a constitutional liberty but also a patriotic duty. Button Gwinnett himself did not sign the Declaration of Independence so that his future compatriots could sit still and passively hand over their sovereignty. The Tower encourages you to let your voice be heard, albeit in a peaceful way.

cheekily announces the candidacies of two of Gwinnett's own, Laura Lee Bernstein for President and her running mate Kevin Black for VP. The Tower reminds those who live, work, or play in Gwinnett that voters are able to forego those on the ballot and instead write in the candidates of their choice.

commends President Joe Biden for stepping down from the presidential race. Inspired by Gwinnett's namesake, Button Gwinnett who proudly signed the Declaration of Independence and thus valued a nation built on unity, the Tower calls upon all those who work, live, and play in Gwinnett to join together. As one, Gwinnett can achieve great things!

mourns the loss of First Lady Rosalynn Carter, who was no stranger to Gwinnett County, having spoken in 2012 at Gwinnett Technical College to discuss her book, Where We Are: The State of Our Country and What We Need to Do to Change It. She also attended a Habitat For Humanity home dedication in Lawrenceville, Georgia in 2016. The Carter family has extensive ties to Gwinnett. Mrs. Carter championed causes such as mental health awareness, peace building, caregiving, and human rights. Without doubt, she left her indelible mark on Gwinnett and indeed throughout the world.
