Dear Old Hickory Ward Members:

As many of you know, tomorrow is the first Sunday of the month wherin we have an opportunity to fast, share testimonies and contribute to the welfare of our fellow saints.

I would like to make a special request that as a ward we unite our fasting efforts on behalf of Andrew Long, the son of Robyn and Kevin Long. Some of you may know that Andrew sustained a serious head injury wakebording this morning. He has undergone surgery and is currently in the care of very competent physicians at Vanderbilt.

Please consider this opportunity to support Andrew, the wonderful Long family and the physicians who care for him as we unite our collective faith and prayers for a full recovery.

May the Lord bless you.
Bishop Facer

"I was a stranger, and ye took me in." —Matthew 25:35
We find it easy to serve and show kindness to people we already know and love. But we don’t fully follow the Savior’s example until we extend that same kindness to people we don’t know.
