3.

People Building

Central Union is a welcoming, loving church family that strives to be like Christ Jesus through relationship and building one another daily. You will find a friendly spirit at CU where you will never be embarrassed,
but encouraged!

1. Christ Centered
We exist to be as Christ, who was full of grace and truth. We are centered by Christ and driven to helped the community through ou

treach and God’s Word.

2. People Building
Because people (Christian and non-Christian alike) are eternally valuable to God, they are valuable to us as well. Love
A genuine consuming love for God and his people. We believe in the power of love and it is our first priority. This love relationship with God enables us to discover who we are in Christ thus compelling us to reach out in love towards others by laying down our lives in service. It is love that drives our motives, actions and encouragement towards one another.

4. We Are About Relationships
One of the reason Jesus sent his disciples out 2 by 2 was to encourage one another. Relationships are a vital of what
we do at Central Union whether its through fellowship or activity. We prioritize our relationships with God and others. Building, fortifying and restoring relationships is of utmost importance to us.

5. Spiritual Community
A church isn't an institution; it's a community. We each have a part to play in advancing the Kingdom of Heaven. The reason we get together at Central Union is to worship God, and then go out into the world together to change it for Him.

6. Transformation and Growth
We serve an excellent God and because we are created in His image, we are an excellent people. Excellence can only truly be achieved in our actions when it first appears in the heart behind the action. Therefore, a growing spirit of excellence is our lifestyle and permeates our every activity.A pure transformation on the inside in turn gives pure actions on the outside.

SISTERS MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
“Stop Applying Permanent Labels to Temporary Seasons”

Hello sisters, be careful what you CALL yourself during a hard season!
Just because you're struggling doesn't mean you're weak.
Just because you're waiting doesn't mean you're forgotten.
Just because you're hurting doesn't mean you're broken.

Too many women take a temporary experience and turn it into a permanent identity.

A bad season becomes...
"I'm a failure."

A disappointment becomes...
"Nothing ever works out for me."

A setback becomes...
"I'll never get there."

But that's not what God said.

“Weeping may ENDURE for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 (KJV)

Notice the Bible gives the pain a timeline.
The night is real.
The tears are real.
The struggle is real.

But it's not forever.

Don't build your identity around a season God is already moving you through.

You are not your struggle.
You are not your setback.
You are not your worst day.

You are God's daughter navigating a temporary chapter.

For HIS Glory!

SISTERS MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
"Stop Reading From Expired Scripts"
Sisters, sometimes we find ourselves still living by lines that God never wrote.

"I'll never be enough."
"I always mess things up."
"Nothing good ever happens for me."
"I have to do everything by myself."

Those may be the words you've repeated for years, but that doesn't make them true.
"As he thinketh in his heart, so is he." — Proverbs 23:7 (KJV)

The problem is not that God hasn't spoken.
The problem is that we're still reading from old scripts.

Scripts written by:
past hurt
old failures
disappointment
rejection
fear

But God is trying to hand you a new script.
A script that says:
You are chosen.
You are capable.
You are growing.
You are loved.
You are becoming.

Remember on this Monday…
1. You cannot speak a new future while rehearsing an old story.
2. Some of the thoughts you've been agreeing with have already expired.
3. It's time to stop quoting your wounds and start quoting God's Word.

Remind Yourself Today and This Week
"I refuse to live by expired scripts. I will believe what God says about me."
The story God is writing is greater than the one you've been replaying.

For HIS Glory!

SISTERS MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY
“You’re Not Too Late for What God Promised”

Sister we have to stop looking at the clock like God ran out of time!

Just because it didn’t happen when you expected
doesn’t mean it won’t happen at all.

Delay can make you question yourself.
Waiting can make you compare your journey to others.
But God is not operating on panic, He’s operating on purpose!

Remember the Word...
“For the vision is yet for an appointed time…” Habakkuk 2:3 (KJV)

3 Things to Remember on Appointed time:
1. there is a set moment
2. there is divine timing
3. there is a process attached to the promise

What God has for you is not expired because it took longer than expected.

Things to Ponder this Week -
God has not forgotten you
Waiting is not wasting
Your timeline is still in God’s hands
Don’t let impatience talk you out of trusting Him.
“What God promised me still has purpose and timing.”

For HIS Glory!
