On July 30th two of our special members, John and Nita Sims celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary! They married in 1976 at First Baptist Church Nolanville! What a wonderful legacy and beautiful couple! Happy happy anniversary to the Sims! We love y'all!

🏅 **Our First Baptist Church family has an opportunity to support one of our amazing youth, Colton, as he prepares to compete at the Junior Olympic Games in Des Moines, Iowa!** 🏅

Colton has worked incredibly hard to earn his place on the national stage. He finished **1st in the District Meet** and **2nd in the Regional Meet** in the **javelin**, qualifying to compete against some of the best young athletes in the nation.

Colton is **currently ranked 13th in the nation** in his age division and will compete **August 1–8** at the Junior Olympic Games once again.

As he prepares for this exciting opportunity, we would love for our church family and community to come alongside him. Any support you can give is truly appreciated—whether through a financial donation, sharing this post, or, most importantly, lifting him up in prayer. Please pray for safe travels, strength, confidence, protection, and that God would be glorified through his efforts both on and off the field.

What an incredible week at Illumination Station VBS! We are so thankful for every volunteer who gave their time, energy, talents, and love to make this week such a success.

From decorating classrooms and preparing snacks to leading music, teaching lessons, organizing games, registering children, and helping behind the scenes, each of you played an important role in sharing the light of Christ with our children. Your dedication, servant hearts, and willingness to serve made a lasting impact on every child who walked through our doors.

Thank you for the countless hours spent planning, preparing, praying, and pouring into the lives of our kids. Because of you, children experienced God's love, learned His Word, made new friends, and created wonderful memories that will last a lifetime.

We are also grateful to everyone who donated supplies, provided meals, prayed for our VBS, and supported this ministry in any way. It truly takes a church family working together to make something this special happen.

All children ages Pre-k-5th grade are invited to attend First Baptist Church of Nolanville's Vacation Bible School June 7-11 from 6:00-8:00 PM. This is a fun filled event with food, games, crafts, music and learning about Jesus!
