Our new pastor! He will be joining us the first Sunday in July!

Frank Anguiano was born in Lubbock, Texas and soon found himself in a military family. After stints in Oahu, Hawaii, Savannah, Georgia; and Lawton, Oklahoma, Frank and his family settled in their hometown for good. It was during high school that Frank first came to Christ thanks to a determined classmate. After serving in the United States Air Force, Frank went to West Texas A&M University and discovered Methodism at his local campus ministry. After graduating in 2013, Frank later attended Brite Divinity School in Fort Worth, Texas and graduated in 2020.

In his last year of seminary, Frank served as the Associate Pastor of Smithfield United Methodist Church in North Richland Hills, Texas. Upon graduating Frank served as pastor for a year at First United Methodist Church in Quanah, Texas and then briefly as pastor of Shiloh Road United Methodist Church in Billings, Montana.

During a multiple year break in ministry Frank worked as Outreach Director for Austin-based Sustainable Food Center and as a Permanency Specialist for Saint Francis Ministries, working to reunite children placed in foster care with their birth families, helping fifteen children return to care as well as facilitating two adoptions.

Frank currently as on the Elder track for ordination in the United Methodist Church. He is an avid runner having completed the United Supermarkets Marathon in 2023 in less than four hours and from 2022-2024, acted in twelve regional and community theater productions in the Lubbock area. He maintains a deep passion for community work and enrichment, the works of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the vitality and importance of the local church. He has a three year old German Shepherd named Betty and is an avid fan of the Texas Rangers and Texas Tech University sports.
