Our first church cleanup day will be this Saturday at 830am. We will clean up the grounds around the church and parsonage. This will be an ongoing church project. Cold water and snacks will be provided!

Work is likely to be minimal this week.

Former pastor, bestselling author, and leadership guru Cary Nieuwhof spoke to Pastor Frank and over 400 other United Methodist clergy and laity over the past two afternoons at the SCD Conference in Columbus, Ohio. Monday, he spoke about current leadership trends and personal management and Tuesday, he gave a talk on AI and the Future of the Church. A gifted speaker and teacher.

An old friend of Pastor Frank's, Rev. Justin Hancock, preached at the morning service of the SDC Conference Monday morning in Columbus, Ohio. Justin is an ordained Deacon in our own Horizon Texas Conference and is the Head of a nonprofit organization called the Julian Way. He brought down the house!

THANK YOU to everyone who made our VBS this week such a success. Marcia, for keeping the train on the tracks. Sharon, Kathy, Patti, and Sarah for leading our stations. Mike, Christi, Shelby, and I can't for the life of me remember who owns the Green Team for leading our teams. Shirley for signing everyone in. Daniella and Nancy for doing the cooking and the serving. Sammy and Gary for security. Thank you to all of our team helpers and parents and grandparents and great grandparents for trusting us with your children. It was an AMAZING road trip with God. Thank you again!

Our second night of VBS is in the books! What a wonderful two evenings of light and love and learning about God with these kiddos.

Tommorow we will have our celebration at the Nocona Pool for 6pm to 745! Thanks to everyone who has come together for our Road Trip with God!
