We are a life-giving church that believes you are a masterpiece of God (Ephesians 2:10) and the world needs you to use your God-given gifts to heal it (Romans 8:22)! We are marked by the presence of God activating us to heal the broken places in our world; including pain, isolation, hatred, injustice, decay, and separation from God.

Faith in action 🙏🏼

Last week our volunteers spent time in New York City serving alongside , showing up for people experiencing homelessness with hot meals, supplies, and something even more important: genuine human connection and care for the community.

We are called to love our neighbors. All of them. Wherever they are.

So proud of our team for living that out. 🗽❤️

📖 Philippians 2:6-8

This Sunday we were reminded that Jesus' story isn't rags to riches. It's the opposite.
The King of everything willingly chose the cross, not because he had to, but because he loved us enough to. The unjust powers of this world thought they won. But death couldn't hold him.
He went from riches to rags… so we could inherit everything.

He didn’t watch from a distance. He stepped in.
“He let this broken world break him so that a new world could be born.”

Yesterday we gathered as a church family to commission these incredible men and women sending them out as Christ’s ambassadors, to bring food to the hungry, water to the thirsty, build bridges of reconciliation to those who have been wounded, and share the hope of Jesus’ love and grace. And they are READY to go!🙌🏼

This summer, our teams are heading out to:

🗽 New York City (May/June), serving alongside City Relief

🌴 Dominican Republic (June); bringing clean water & the gospel with Filter of Hope

🌲 Penelakut Island, British Columbia (August); loving and rebuilding trust with First Nations people

This is such an amazing opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, and we couldn’t be more excited for everyone stepping out in faith.
We invite YOU to be part of this mission too, through prayer.

🙏🏼Pray for their safety, their hearts, and for God to move powerfully through every trip.

Are you suffering from a “death of potential”?

One of the most quoted scriptures is John 3:16-17
"For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him."

This week, Barry broke down the word "perish" as apollymi, meaning to destroy, lose, ruin, bring to nothing. It’s a word that means the death of what could have been.

Jesus doesn't want us to perish. We are meant for Eternal life.

A life of purpose, full of potential, beyond who we are right now. An Eden kind of life, full of abundance and peace, a life that keeps on giving. A resurrection life! That is Jesus. He’s saving us from perishing from a life that could have been, to a life of an age to come.

That’s something worth believing.

A life that brings life to others.

This is the life you were made for.
