Grace Circle: The Lenten Breakfast was such a success. Many thanks to our speaker Janet Hart Leonard & our pastors. Our next meeting is Tuesday, April 15th at 11am (a week later due to spring breaks). Please join us in the parlor for the stuffing of Easter bags for the kiddos at Indiana Children's Home. We will also be making final preparations for the Bingo Night on Tuesday, April 29th from 6:30-8pm that benefits Fueled for School.

Lydia Circle: Thank you to all that joined us for our fun night of "Steppin' Up to Help" for Cherish. Nancy did a fantastic job of being the caller and we raised $1,540!! Our March meeting will be on Tuesday, March 25th at 6:30pm with a tour of the new Cherish facility & we will present them with the check. Mark your calendars for our April meeting on the 22nd at 6:00pm. We will be volunteering at the Fishers UMC Come to Me Food Pantry followed by eating together at a nearby restaurant.

Priscilla Circle: Our March meeting was on Monday, the 17th at 6:30pm where our own UWF Board treasurer shared information regarding our UWF pledges. The April meeting will be on Monday, April 21st at 6:30pm. Phyllis Hunter will be presenting a program based on the UWF resource book.

Rebekah Circle: We will be meeting on Wednesday, March 19th at 9:30am in the church parlor. Phyllis Hunter will present the program. Mark your calendars for our April meeting on Wednesday the 16th. We will be out at Teter Organic Farm for a volunteer work day (probably planting seeds in one of the hoop houses).

In the GLO Deb Foley's text:

"(447) babies went home with a handmade blanket. 224 went home with a baby bag."

And that's where I got the number "4,470 warm little toes."

Last year I put together 224 baby bags. I am the only one who knows what is in the bags. There are no expectations because the family doesn't know they will be receiving one until they are discharged. When I can add a couple of extra items to each bag, it fills my heart to overflowing. What an added blessing to the families in need of a little extra help.
To say your support is greatly appreciated is not enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being God's hands and feet and helping the little ones start their journey with a loving hug.
Blessings to you and your supporters,
Deborah

and here's my reply:

Wow!! You said it beautifully. Message well conveyed! I will pass it on! Just think...that's 4,470 warm little toes.

Our preschool is highly sought after because of our staff. All 36 teachers showed up on a Sunday for a professional development session to better learn how to reach their students.

Every.Single.One.

These women showed up to strengthen their skills, which strengthens their kids, which strengthens their families, which strengthens the community.

This session about what behavior is telling us was DYNAMIC. As an educator for 20+ years, I’m picky about what I put my time and energy into. This was worth every penny and every second. We left with action items to use right away.

Stay tuned for a parenting seminar with the same info. We’re all in this together!

Last night UWF’s Lydia Circle hosted a line dance fund raiser, “Steppin’ Up to Help”, to support CHERISH, a local Hamilton County nonprofit dedicated to advocating for victims of child abuse. Over 40 people joined in line dancing to a variety of songs led by Nancy Huff. The event even included yummy refreshments and door prizes.
