Title: Lord of the Storm

Synopsis: In this story, Jesus and his disciples are in a small boat when a dangerous storm hits and threatens to through them into the sea. While the disciples panic, Jesus calmly and authoritatively settles the storm. Even when our trust in him is small, God is still greater than the obstacles that rise against us.

We were pleased to host the MudSock Jazz Combo yesterday evening who provided a wonderful musical experience. The food afterwards was delicious. Our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us for this enjoyable evening 🎷🎶🎤🍽️

Synopsis: In this passage, Jesus teaches two parables highlighting how things can start small but grow much bigger over time. The same, he says, is true of God’s kingdom. You may feel small and insignificant, but God can use you for greater things than you can possibly imagine.

Title: The Hidden Light

Synopsis: In this well-known parable, Jesus points out how silly it would be to light a lamp and then put it where it could not shed its light. It wouldn’t be doing its job! You and I are vessels of the light of the world, and if we keep this light hidden, we are similarly failing to do we were intended to do.
