Special service honoring all the graduates

Buenos días, Iglesia.

Esta semana tenemos varias graduaciones. Debido a la cantidad de familias que estarán apoyando a sus hijos en estos eventos, tanto el servicio de intercesión del martes como el servicio general del miércoles serán cancelados en apoyo a nuestros niños y jóvenes en sus graduaciones.

Les animamos a todos a meditar en la Palabra del Señor y venir preparados el domingo por la mañana para celebrar una vez más a nuestros graduados y recibir una palabra de parte del Señor.

Que tengan una semana bendecida.

Good morning, church family.

This week, we have several graduations taking place. Due to the number of families who will be attending these celebrations, both the Tuesday Intercessory Service and Wednesday General Service will be canceled in support of our children and their accomplishments.

We encourage everyone to spend time meditating on the Word of the Lord and to come prepared to celebrate our graduates once again on Sunday morning, as well as receive a word from the Lord.

Asunto: Cancelación del Servicio

Querida familia de la iglesia,

Debido al pronóstico de clima severo que afectará el área de Norman y el centro de Oklahoma esta tarde entre las 6:00 p. m. y las 8:00 p. m., hemos tomado la decisión de cancelar el servicio de esta noche.

El Servicio Nacional de Meteorología y los pronósticos locales indican la posibilidad de tormentas eléctricas fuertes, granizo de gran tamaño, vientos dañinos y riesgo de tornados durante este periodo. Nuestra máxima prioridad es la seguridad de nuestros miembros, voluntarios y familias mientras se trasladan hacia y desde la iglesia.

Subject: Cancellation of Service

Dear Church Family,
Due to the forecast for severe weather impacting the Norman and central Oklahoma area this evening between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, we have made the decision to cancel tonight’s church service.
The National Weather Service and local forecasts indicate the potential for strong thunderstorms, large hail, damaging winds, and a risk of tornadoes during this timeframe. Our top priority is the safety of our members, volunteers, and families as they travel to and from the church.
We encourage everyone to stay weather-aware, have a family severe weather plan in place, and monitor local alerts from reliable sources such as the National Weather Service Norman office or local news outlets.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact the church office. We look forward to gathering together safely for our next scheduled service.

Weather Update & Service Cancellation

Due to the expected severe weather this evening, we will be canceling tonight’s service. Forecasts indicate strong thunderstorms developing around 8:00 PM, with the potential for large hail, damaging winds, and possible tornado activity in our area. We do not want to put anyone at risk by traveling in these conditions.

We encourage everyone to stay weather-aware, have a plan in place, and take necessary precautions at home.

We will keep you updated regarding any rescheduling or changes moving forward. If you have any questions, concerns, or need assistance due to the weather, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
