Good afternoon ladies
This upcoming Sunday we will be having a womens ministry event. We encourage you to come join us. There will a short devotion followed by a beautiful craft. Our craft this time will be a handmade nativity featuring Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus. Bring a dish to share as we will enjoy eating together. I hope to see each of you there. We will begin at 11:00 and will be done by 12:30.

Friends I ask that you pray for Kathi Lien as she endures the pain of losing her husband Herb. Services will be held for Herb this coming Sunday at 2pm at the Nixa Sda church. If you did not have the privilege of knowing Herb prior to the onset of his dementia you missed out on a treat. Herb will be missed by his daughters, their husbands and his grandkids, great grandkids as well as his wife Kathi and many others who loved him. Kathi is such a valuable member of the Nixa church I know it would mean the world to her if we showed up to show her our support as she grieves the loss of Herb. Ladies I miss seeing you on a regular basis and enjoying our monthly get togethers! I am blessed each week by seeing many of you in the church congregation. However, if you are still uncomfortable with attending church Nixa has an option that might make it possible for you to attend church physically. Nixa SDA has begun a 8:30 am service which requires all in attendance to wear a mask for the entirety of the time in the building, no contact and social distancing in place. The service will last about 45 minutes and you will be out before the second service begins. If you have any questions please contact me if you know of someone who desires to be in church but has struggled to go back to a regular service this might be the perfect option for you!!

Ladies I am asking for your help. With the fear of the corona virus going around. There may be some of our older population who have been told by their physicians to stay home and avoid being out in public as much as they can. They may not be prepared in regards to food or medicine. I am asking for volunteers to grocery shop and deliver or pick up medication etc. If you would be willing to do this please let me know. Ami Cook 417-894-6814. If you are reading this and you fall into the category of being told to remain out of the public until this gets under control and your health is no longer at risk get in touch with me so we can make sure you have what you need to safely remain home

Ladies yesterday was such a sweet blessing. As women we can each think of a time when our mother or grandmother spent time with us in the kitchen teaching us how to make a meal. Not from a recipe but from a place of love. Yesterday we spent time learning how to make a treasured recipe. Each lady that gathers around our tables during our time together is a blessing from God. We hope you consider joining us as we build relationships, learn from each other and touch those in our community

Just baked my plate to set in the paint. I am excited for Sunday to see the creativity come out in all of you as we sit around the tables and fellowship. I have been asked if babies are allowed. The answer is of course. I do not want any stumbling block to keep our moms of young ones from being able to get out and have some mommy time. There are typically some of our younger teen girls at these events and I know personally a few of them LOVE babies. Planning to see each of you this upcoming Sunday @ 10:30. Bring a dish to share and a friend. I have all the supplies for the sharing plate. The blank plates are just missing you and your creativity ❤️

Ladies you are simply amazing! Today we enjoyed our speaker Jessica Green who spoke to up about seasonal depression. We also took cards which held names of various ladies within our congregation who we have committed to love on, pray for and check in during this winter season. Our devotion was on Dorcas and I hoped to encourage us to reach out and love deeply those around us without expecting anything in return. If you haven’t yet joined us for our monthly meeting I pray you consider joining us.
