Bro. Michael Smith and Bro. Robert Gellenbeck received visas almost immediately upon application with no further reviews required! This is such a blessing after months and months of working to get the proper letters and documentation.

Planning is underway for meetings in several locations in Mozambique in September as part of the trip to Malawi.

We are thankful to roll out the new Gospel Truth website and app!

Special thanks to Bro. Josh Elwell for developing the website and creating the app for both Apple and Android devices. We encourage you to visit the website and download the app.

The Gospel Truth is now available in 11 languages. We continue to work with dedicated translators, and in some languages all the Bible studies have been compiled into a book. This gives ministers with limited study resources access to Scripture on many foundational doctrines.

The distribution of these papers has been a spiritual blessing and an important outreach tool. It is encouraging to hear that pastors from other denominations are coming to the meetings to learn more about this truth.

In India, Bro. Vedha prints and mails thousands of copies throughout the region, yet hundreds remain on the waiting list until consistent support is available.

Please keep this work in your prayers.

For about a year, our mission work in Malawi has been without a reliable vehicle. This has made it extremely difficult for the ministers to make regular visits to the nearly 70 congregations scattered across the country.

Many of the roads are rough and remote, requiring a dependable, high-clearance 4×4 vehicle. As camp meeting approaches, we are praying to purchase a 2019 Toyota Hilux Crew Cab—a vehicle well suited for Malawi’s demanding road conditions and one that can transport ministers, supplies, and assist during mission trips.

The Lord has already provided a portion of the needed funds, but we still need approximately $15,000–$20,000 before we can begin seriously looking for a vehicle. Good vehicles sell quickly in Malawi, so we need to be ready when the right one becomes available.

Because Malawi is a landlocked country, imported vehicles are considerably more expensive than in many neighboring nations. Reliable vehicles are scarce, and many have already suffered years of hard use on the rough roads which is why we are prioritizing a newly imported used vehicle. Renting a suitable vehicle is also difficult and costly, making regular oversight, evangelism, and encouragement of the congregations nearly impossible.

Lord willing, we plan to travel to Malawi in September. It would be a tremendous blessing to invest those funds toward a dependable vehicle that will serve the work for years to come rather than spending them on a short-term rental.

Please pray with us that God will provide this need in His perfect time and according to His will. If the Lord lays this burden on your heart and you would like to help, your gift will directly strengthen the ongoing work of the gospel throughout Malawi.

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings…” — Isaiah 52:7

PAKISTAN--An air cooler and several fans were purchased for the home church of Bro. Shahzad. This helps tremendously with the hot temperatures in Pakistan. Lows are about 80 degrees right now with the highs around 100 daily.

PAKISTAN—I did not share regularly from Pakistan while we were traveling, but want to report that the brethren in Pakistan are constantly on the move working for the Lord. They are faithful to send photos/videos of their travels to a circuit of villages to preach the gospel and baptize new believers and give out Bibles from the ones we raised funds to purchase at the beginning of the year. They have faced some hardships and are still working for the Lord.

The funds that you send are a help to support the ministry periodically as well as to provide outreach funds to cover fuel and transportation costs. Fuel has risen everywhere. This week the outreach funds had been depleted so we provided a little more for them to go to several more congregations while they were already in a certain area. May God bless with the anointing of His word and may He provide and encourage the ministers and their families.

Walls being added to the Makwara chapel where they were worshipping under a tree. This is how a temporary structure is built without bricks. A building on a budget.

Many congregations begin with this kind of building and down the road when they have proved faithful and when the Lord provides the means and inspiration steps are sometimes made to build a permanent building with bricks.

The chapel in Busia where we had meetings at the first part of the trip has used the plastering supplies already on their building! It is a blessing to see the projects being accomplished so quickly.
