Did you know that in recent history, cemeteries were used as parks for things like picnics and relaxation areas?

Rosedale seems like a nice place to receive the message of a good book.

Our recommendation this week is: Final Gifts: Understanding the Special Awareness, Needs, and Communications of the Dying. By Maggie Callanan and Patricia Kelley.

This book was recommended highly to us here at Rosedale.

While reading, this idea of true communication linked to the silence inside our own minds was just beautiful.

We've sought to create a space for you to find just the silence you're looking for here on our grounds. Come sit on one of our many, gorgeous benches & practice quieting your mind.

Not only a business, but a family. . .

You see, this time 3 years ago, we here at Rosedale lost someone, too.

Pete Flood was the original owner of Rosedale and was the husband and father to the current owners: Teresa and Tess Flood.

Pete began Rosedale Valley Memorial Gardens as a community-centered project that would give Christian county residents a peaceful, beautiful place to come remember those they've loved and have lost in their lives.

We truly hope Rosedale represents a sanctuary to those who have buried loved ones on the grounds already.

Please know that we honor you and do know, first-hand, the feeling of loss you must be feeling.
