Discussing, learning about, and CeLeBrAtInG the one true Reason for the Season. HaPpY BiRtHdAy Jesus! Elevate Youth Christmas Party 2023. A great time of food, fellowship, fun, games, and a lesson on Myrrh. The last gift in our series of lessons on the gifts brought to Jesus and their significance.

This month we are talking about the three Wise Men who brough gifts to Jesus. We are focusing on the gifts they brought, what they represented at that time, and how they can still be applied to our lives and who we claim Jesus to be even today. We talked about gold last Sunday. Today we talked about frankencense.

Then our youth competed in the Elevate Youth Winter Games with snowball fights, a candy cane carry challenge, and a candy cane pass challenge. Congratulations to the boys in their winnings today!

We were back today. We missed everyone so much! It was great to see familiar faces we have not seen in a minute. The boys versed the girls in som Bible Trivia. We both won a game. We look forward to seeing who the best 2 out of 3 will be next week.

Around the table discussion on what we want our identities to be, who the Bible says we are, and who & what we want to identify & align ourselves with.
I will identify as fearfully and wonderfully made, blessed beyond measure, a child of the one true King, blood bought, forgiven, loved, anointed, set apart, bold, and unashamed to be aligned with the Bible and who Jesus says I am.
