Dear friends,
February has felt like a month of preparation.
Maps on the table. Phone calls late at night. Messages back and forth with pastors we’ll soon see face-to-face.
At the end of this month, Greater Than Me Ministries will be heading back to Ecuador to spend time with pastors and church leaders who are faithfully serving in places where resources are thin and encouragement is often thinner.
And as I’ve been planning and praying, I keep thinking the same thing:
We don’t go alone. You’re going with us.
A moment that reminded me why
Recently I spoke with a pastor there who said, “Sometimes I just need someone to listen and remind me I’m not crazy for feeling tired.”
He wasn’t asking for money.
He wasn’t asking for programs.
He just wanted someone to walk beside him.
That’s the heart behind this trip.
We’ll be sitting at tables, visiting churches, praying with leaders, and offering coaching and encouragement. Nothing flashy. Just presence, wisdom, and care.
But often that’s exactly what keeps a pastor from quitting.
