Sunday, August 2nd: Blessing of the Backpacks

Last Sunday, our children and youth learned about the powerful lesson of faith through Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 17:20:

“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed… nothing will be impossible for you.”

To help bring this lesson to life, Ashley brought real mustard seeds for each child to create a special necklace by placing a tiny mustard seed inside a small bottle. It’s a beautiful reminder that God can do amazing things through even the smallest amount of faith when we trust in Him.

A heartfelt thank you to Ashley and Julie for sharing God’s Word with our children and youth and for investing in their faith. We are so thankful for your dedication and love for our young people! ❤️🙏

🎒✏️ Blessing of the Backpacks ✏️🎒

Join us on Sunday, August 2 for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks!

As we prepare for a new school year, bring your backpack to worship so we can pray over students, teachers, school staff, and everyone beginning another year of learning. Each backpack will also receive a special backpack tag as a reminder that God is with you throughout the school year.

Let’s start the school year off right, with prayer, encouragement, and God’s blessing. We can’t wait to see you there! ❤️
