During communion this morning I was thinking how awful it was that the men who nailed Jesus to the cross did such a cruel thing. Then I realized that I myself and everyone who has ever lived (all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God) are just as guilty of putting Jesus on the cross as those men were who physically nailed him there. I know this but had never thought of it quite that way.
