Andrew... Thank you, from all of Suncrest Kids. Well done, good and faithful servant.
Our kids and students at church loved Andrew, and He loved them right back. Andrew gave of his time and heart to serve, to listen to kids, to lead them, to put others first, even when it was inconvenient. His fun, goofy side, but also his sweet, patient side with kids, was something so special to have at such a young age and so early in life.
Andrew was an incredibly impactful young man. Who will be greatly missed.
He was living out God’s call on his life with wholehearted obedience. So proud of him!
Andrew’s life was a beautiful reflection of faithful obedience. Though we grieve his absence here, we celebrate the eternal impact he made and the reward he has now received in the presence of the Savior he loved so much.
As we remember Andrew and pray for his family, I’m here if anyone needs to talk. Three scriptures to hold on to during this time.
Psalm 34:18 “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” (God draws especially near to us in our pain.)
2 Corinthians 1:3-4 “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” (A beautiful reminder that God comforts us so we can comfort others.)
1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.” (We grieve, but not without hope—because of the resurrection.)
