At our recent staff chapel, we had the joy of celebrating Nancy’s birthday and 25 years of Revive Our Hearts together.

Many of our staff and ministry friends joined us in person, while many others joined through the livestream. And we were in for a special treat! Nancy played a beautiful piano arrangement of “Great Is Thy Faithfulness.”

It was such a special moment, and we wanted to share it with you. 💙

You can find Nancy’s piano rendition of “Great Is Thy Faithfulness” on her album Be Still, available on all music streaming platforms.

The influence of a woman who is surrendered to God can reach farther than she may ever realize. 💙

For 25 years, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth has been calling women back to God’s Word—to understand His good design for women, to pursue holiness, to embrace every season of life, and to invest in the women coming behind them.

And she’s seen firsthand the power of women who simply say, “Yes, Lord.”

When women walk faithfully with Christ, their influence can shape their homes, strengthen their churches, encourage younger women, and impact generations to come.

Will you be one of those women?

Twenty-five years ago, Revive Our Hearts began calling women to freedom, fullness, and fruitfulness in Christ.

Year after year, we’ve seen God faithfully use His Word to transform hearts, renew lives, and call women to revival.

These aren’t just ministry impact stories. They’re stories about what God has done, one surrendered heart at a time. The prayer behind the ministry remains the same as it was on day one: that Christ would be magnified and that hearts, starting with our own, would be revived.

"What was born on September 3, 2001, when the voice of (then) Nancy Leigh DeMoss reached across the airwaves on Christian radio stations all over the United States has now blossomed into a movement of millions of women whose lives have been touched by the ministry of Revive Our Hearts.

This week we’re celebrating twenty-five years of God’s faithfulness to the ministry. What would a birthday party be without a look back at the baby book? This is the story of how God birthed a countercultural movement through one woman’s willingness to say, 'Yes, Lord!'"

Happy birthday, Nancy!

What a gift it is to celebrate you today, especially as we rejoice in 25 years of Revive Our Hearts and give thanks for the faithfulness of God through it all.

For decades and through every season of your life, you have called women to lift their eyes to Jesus, to trust His heart and His hand, and to continue to say “Yes, Lord.” By God’s grace, we haven’t only heard those truths in your teaching—we’ve had the privilege of watching you live them.

As a single woman, you showed us there is beauty, fullness, and purpose in a life wholly surrendered to Christ. You encouraged us to embrace the season God has given us, serve Him faithfully, and find our deepest satisfaction in Him.

Then Robert came into your life, and we watched you receive the unexpected gift of marriage with gratitude and delight. You modeled the joy of trusting God to write a story different from one we might have imagined—and of entering marriage with a desire to glorify Christ together.

And now, in a season of widowhood you never would have chosen, the grace of Jesus shines through you in a tender new way. In the midst of deep grief, you are showing us what it looks like to cling to the Lord and keep trusting who He is—that He is good, He does good, and He is sufficient for every chapter He writes.

Through it all, the heart of the message has remained the same: Jesus is worthy. His ways are good. His grace is enough. And we can trust Him with the story He is writing.

Happy birthday, Nancy! We love you dearly, we thank God for you, and we’re so grateful for the precious gift of your life and the way it continues to point us to Jesus.

"Before the True Woman movement, before Aviva Nuestros Corazones, before a global staff numbering hundreds, and before the Lord used this ministry to lead millions of women to greater freedom, fullness, and fruitfulness in Christ, there was this scene:

One woman, alone with the Lord. Prayerful. Contemplative. Earnestly desiring that God would visit her with a fresh outpouring of faith to take a giant step forward."

Since 2001, Revive Our Hearts has walked with women through every season—the hard ones and the hope-filled ones—pointing them back to Christ through His Word. What began as Nancy's prayer for revival has grown into a ministry reaching women around the world.

“Joy comes not from writing our own story or having the story go as we would have scripted it. Joy comes from saying ‘Yes, Lord’ to whatever story He writes for our lives.” —Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth

Friend, when life doesn’t unfold the way we hoped, we can still trust the One who is writing our story.

As we celebrate 25 years of Revive Our Hearts, we’re revisiting some of Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth’s classic teaching on forgiveness, reconciliation, encouragement, and trusting God in every season.

As we approach twenty-five years of Revive Our Hearts this Thursday, September 3, we’re celebrating God’s faithfulness and the many women whose lives He has transformed through the power of His Word.

For Amy, that journey began as a young wife and mom in the late ’90s and early 2000s. From the first time she heard Nancy speak at a local church, the teaching of Revive Our Hearts began to reshape the way she saw her calling as a wife, mom, and woman.

Over the years, Amy read Nancy’s books, listened to the radio program and podcasts, and put those biblical truths into practice in her home and relationships.

Today, she has wonderful relationships with her husband and four adult children—and she knows that fruit is the result of God’s transforming work in her life through His Word.

That’s the legacy we’re celebrating: twenty-five years of God using His Word to transform women, strengthen families, and multiply His truth from one generation to the next.

We’re so grateful for what God has done and we’re expectant for all He will continue to do through Revive Our Hearts in the years ahead. 💙

In 1995, Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth shared a message called “Brokenness: The Heart God Revives.”

Women heard it and began passing it along to others through cassette tapes. Eventually, those tapes made their way to Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine of FamilyLife, who asked Nancy, “Have you ever considered hosting a radio program?”

That question would eventually lead to Revive Our Hearts.

Twenty-five years later, we’re still talking about the truth at the heart of that original message: “We will never meet God in revival until we have first met Him in brokenness.”

As we celebrate 25 years of Revive Our Hearts, we’re revisiting some of the foundational truths God has used to shape this ministry and reminding ourselves that the heart God revives is a heart surrendered to Him.
