Day 5 in The Kingdom of Light VBS is over now, but what a wonderful day we had! 🌸🌞

We learned how as we follow Jesus the lives of Kingdom members shine out like bright lights in a dark night. We snacked on torches for snack time, carried lanterns in game time, and made our own tea-light lanterns during craft time.

This was a truly incredible week of learning, fun, and friendship in the Kingdom. We are so thankful for all the parents who trusted us with their children, for all the volunteers who served so well, and for God's grace to allow us another beautiful week of VBS together.

We will see you all again next year for Redeemer's VBS 2027!

Day 4 of our "The Kingdom of Light VBS" was another beautiful day of learning, exploring, and growing together. 🤗

Today we learned that all of the members of Jesus' Kingdom are a family, and that God wants us to treat each other with love.

We created stick puppet families in crafts, tried our best to make stick people in snack time 😅, and in game time we ran races that required everyone to work together as a team in order to win!

Today we want to especially thank our absolutely fantastic team of volunteers who are working tirelessly to make this VBS happen! They are leading classes, running crowd control, prepping snacks, keeping craft time on track, and making game time safe and fun. They are cuddling fussy babies, nursing small wounds, watching out for food allergies, keeping head-counts, and enforcing safety rules. But most of all they are loving these kids and showing them the beauty and grace of life in The Kingdom of Light!

We have 50 of the best volunteers in the world who are giving it their all this week, and we are so incredibly thankful! 👏 💜
