We are a congregation that believes the promises of Jesus.

When Jesus says, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5),we trust that the Resurrected Jesus is present among us just as He said - both physically and spiritually. Jesus doesn't leave us guessing where He is; Jesus is here to give His forgiveness to those that gather in His name. The Word
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." (John 1:1);


The one who hears you, hears me." (Luke 10:16)

Baptism
"We were buried therefore with (Jesus) by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:4)

We believe that Baptism is a gift from God to us where God himself unites us to Jesus - in particular His death and Resurrection. When God unites us to Jesus by Baptism, we also receive all that rightly belongs to Jesus - even His righteousness and purity. We are Baptized into Christ and our unity with Christ remains forever. Holy Communion
"The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?" (1 Corinthians 10:16)

We believe that Jesus' true flesh and blood are present in, with, and under the bread and wine of Holy Communion. We believe that those who receive the body and blood according to Jesus' command receive forgiveness of sins, the renewed gift of eternal life, and the strengthening of their faith. Because Communion is an expression of unity and because persons can receive Holy Communion to their condemnation (1 Corinthians 11:27-30), we ask that all guests consult with the pastor before communing.
