What you hope for shapes what you live for.

As we wrapped up our Living in the In-Between series, we saw that faithfulness begins with trusting the faithfulness of God. He strengthens, guards, directs, and sustains us by His grace.

This weekend we responded with open hands—bringing our First Fruits to God as an act of trust and surrender, recognizing that everything we have belongs to Him.

When we live open-handed, we live reminded: God is faithful, and He will provide, establish, and lead us.
Because the Lord is faithful, we can remain steadfast.

God’s word gives clears direction: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2).

A worldly Christian will fall into patterns and practices that are dishonest and unethical in order to please others. They will essentially have no influence or be an effective witness for Christ.

This weeks lesson will open our minds and hearts to be obedient to the voice of God, and show us areas in our lives that we need to daily surrender so that we can live a godly life and be the positive influence in this present ungodly world.
