We began this congregation not only as a rejection of the syncretism infiltrating the Lutheran Church, but also as an attempt to embrace all of church history as our own. We particularly wanted to embrace the fullness of our liturgical heritage as Lutherans, which was so lacking among American Lutherans. We continue to live out the fullness of our sacramental and liturgical piety in the context of a confessional Lutheran faith.
