Good Evening, Family Church:

It’s Saturday evening and I’m putting the finishing touches on the message for in the morning at Family Church.

I’ll be continuing the study on the book of Ephesians. Tomorrow, we’ll be covering Ephesians 5:21-33.

I hope that you can be at Family Church in the morning. I’m anticipating and expecting Jesus to do some wonderful works in tomorrow’s worship experience.

We begin sharply at 10:30 AM.

Don’t Miss It‼️

I’ll see you then.

Good Morning, Family Church:

A passage of scripture from my reading in Proverbs this morning.

“Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine.” — Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭9‬-‭10‬ ‭(NLT‬‬)

The Lord wants you blessed so much that He gives you a plan of action in which you can be blessed.

Have a blessed Wednesday!

Good Morning, Family Church:

I'm still rejoicing over the wonderful presence of Jesus we experienced in Sunday's Worship Service. I personally felt an awesome, heavy presence of The Holy Spirit while preaching.

I’d like to ask you to do something very special. I’d like you to get in a daily habit of praying for Family Church. We need to cover our Church with prayer, every day, so that we can experience a special presence of The Holy Spirit each week.

I ask you to pray for three things:

• Pray for Spiritual growth in our Church.
• Pray for Physical growth in our Church.
• Pray for Financial growth in our Church.

I pray for each one of you every day. My prayer is that Jesus will bless you with Provision, Protection and Prosperity.

I love each one of you and I appreciate your love for my me, my family, and our great Church.

The Lord bless each one of you for a great week and much favor.

Sincerely,

— Pastor Gene

Happy Wednesday, Family Church:

While in my daily reading of the Psalms and Proverbs this morning, I came upon this beautiful prayer of David.

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭27‬:‭4‬

“One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.” ‭(ESV‬)

If this is something you truly desire, consider placing this prayer in your prayers today.

I have paraphrase the verse in my own words. You could pray something like this:

“Lord, here’s something I desperately ask of You. That I will be in Your presence all the days of my life. That I will always see the beauty, and perfection, of Your presence. That I will forever be able to speak with You and hear from You. Amen.”

Blessings on you for a wonderful day.

(From the Sunday’s Morning Message, “Walking in Love, Light and Wisdom” — Ephesians, chapter 5)

The Story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37)

While others passed by the man on the road, who was stripped, robbed and beaten, the Good Samaritan stopped and poured oil and wine on his wounds to help healing begin. He took the wounded man to an Inn so he could have time to recover, and he paid the innkeeper to care for him.

The Samaritan stopped, sacrificed his time, and resources, and served the wounded man and met his needs.

Love is a choice. Love isn’t proven by convenience, but by inconvenience.

I’ve found that many believers want resurrection power, but want to avoid crucifixion love.

Jesus called us to love others and Paul is reminding the Gentile believers, and us today, to walk in love in all our ways.

Here are a few questions we must ask ourselves:

* Are we loving our families sacrificially?
* Are we loving difficult people?
* Are we extending grace?
