This Message Had Some Weight To It

Whew. Pastor Ken brought a word at Seed of Hope today that was packed with truth.

One thing that stood out was this: throughout Scripture, when hard and challenging truth is revealed, people usually do one of two things… they defend themselves or they walk away.

But growth happens when we stay at the table long enough to let God’s Word work on us.

Not every uncomfortable word is an attack. Sometimes it’s an invitation to transformation.

Today Pastor Ken is bringing a message called “Love Beyond Limits.”

Most people love until it becomes inconvenient. Love until it costs something. Love until they’re hurt, disappointed, or asked to sacrifice.

But what if real love goes further?

Today we’re talking about the kind of love that crosses boundaries, breaks barriers, and refuses to stop where everyone else does.

Sometimes we focus so much on what we lack that we forget how faithfully God has provided in the past. Time and time again, He has made a way, opened doors, and supplied our needs.

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 4:19

Trust God with today’s needs and tomorrow’s concerns. His provision never runs dry 🙏🏽

The presence of a storm does not mean the absence of God. Some of God’s greatest miracles happened in the middle of difficult situations. While the disciples focused on the wind and waves, Jesus remained in control.

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.” - John 14:27

Don’t let the storm steal your peace, God is still in control 🌊🕊️

It’s easy to focus on what you’re still waiting for, but don’t forget to thank God for what He’s already done. The blessings you prayed for last year may be the very things you’re living in today.

“O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.” - Psalms 107:1

A grateful heart can find reasons to praise God even in the middle of the journey. 🙌🏽

A new month means new opportunities, new mercy, and another chance to see what God can do.

Don’t spend the first Sunday of the month at home. Get up, get dressed, and get to the house of God. Start this month in His presence and let Him set the direction for what’s ahead.

The fact that you’re still standing is proof that God has been sustaining you. There were situations that should have overwhelmed you, but somehow you made it through. That wasn’t luck, that was God’s hand at work in your life.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” - Psalms 46:1

The same God who brought you through before will carry you through again. 🙏🏽

God’s love is not earned through perfection. You don’t have to clean yourself up before coming to Him. The Bible shows us over and over that Jesus met people right where they were — hurting, lost, discouraged, and imperfect. His love still reaches people the same way today.

“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” - Romans 5:8

There is still grace for you. Still mercy for you. Still purpose for your life. ✨
