Today is what many call Mardi Gras, French for Free Tuesday. Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday...the beginning of Lent, 40 days of reflection on the scrifice that Jesus made to save all of creation.

Tomorrow at noon, Pastor Faith will be at New Hope UMC for a moment of meditation and the imposition of ashes for anyone who would like to come.
At 5:00 PM, she will be at Culbertson's Chapel for those who wish to meditate and have ashes imposed.
At 7:00 PM, there will be a full Ash Wednesday Service at NIckelsville UMC.
All will be welcomed at any of our three opportunities to begin the Easter Season.

This last week of the Advent Season, we hope will bring some focus to the busyness of the holiday...
At 6:30 PM on Monday, Dec. 21, we will hold our second annual "Longest Night Christmas Observance". This is a service that offers comfort for those who are most stressed and grieving this year. We will offer comfort and encouragement.

At 7:00 PM on Thursday, Dec. 24, we will have our Christmas Eve service!

We hope all will come and worship with us!
