📢 Important Information About Our 4th of July Celebration
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing well. I wanted to give you an update on some changes we’ll be making to our 4th of July celebration tomorrow. In light of the ridiculous heat we’ve had this week and will continue to have tomorrow, we will be moving our party indoors. I know the students, and I had awesome ideas and visions for epic water wars and games, but after praying about this, I feel it will be safer and much more comfortable and pleasant for fellowship and fun to stay indoors.
Now, since the weather canceled our plans for our family game night last weekend, I thought it would be fun to bring that element into our celebration tomorrow. So, I’ll have some board games set up for us to play while we eat and enjoy each other’s company. As we planned before, if there are any games you and your family enjoy playing, bring them! We will still have the crafts we planned, and some other fun games for friendly competition – possibly between parents and students… 🤔
That said, our team scheduled to set up chairs for Sunday service has graciously offered to arrive at 6 pm, allowing us to use all the space we need for our event. If you plan to come, it would be great if you could stay a few minutes to help set up the chairs. The quicker we work together, the sooner we can get to the second half of our Independence Day celebrations in the evening and ease the burden and inconvenience on folks adjusting their schedules for us. Thank you in advance!
The food prep has been really fun; everything smells amazing, and it should turn out delicious. I look forward to seeing you all there!
