FYI
Acts 16:16-18
16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.
18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

“LOOK WHERE GOD HAS BROUGHT US”
Westminster Presbyterian Church

Can you imagine, when they had Homecoming and Basketmeeting at the Westminster Presbyterian Church, starting in 1935. The Paynes, Spillman’s, Overstreet’s and others in the community wide would be in the mist. Along with the congregation from the Baptist Church. They met on the 2nd and 4th Sundays at the Presbyterian Church. And the Baptist Church on the 1st and 3rd Sunday, never on the 5th Sunday. We keep that tradition today and guarded. This Church is 1 of 2 only African -American Presbyterian Churches in the state of Kentucky. The other one in Louisville, Ky. This was a Mission work of the Presbyterian Synod of Kentucky. it was supported by the Baptist Church on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Ain’t God alright!

Homecoming and Basketmeeting on the horizon.
