You can't carry it. That was the message this week.Jesus said come unto me all that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. You can't carry it. You can't carry this world it will crush you. You can't carry the worry. You can't carry stress. You can't carry the pain.you cant carry the guilt. You can't carry the shame. You can't carry what people has done to you. It's to much. We are not supposed to carry it. we are supposed to lay it down at the foot of cross. And say Lord here it all is . I'm tired, I'm weak I just want to rest. Sweet rest Knowing that the Lord has got us. What could be better? Thank you Lord for taking our burdens. In Jesus name

This past Sunday we read in Mathew 13. The parable of the sower and the seed. The sower went out and sowed seed some fell by the way side the old hard packed walk ways and the birds ate them up. Some fell in the rocky ground where the soil was shallow. They sprouted but they couldn't really take root so when the sun got hot they withered away. Some fell among the thorn bushes and were choked out and died. But some fell on good ground and did well and grew and flourished and yielded a good crop. The seed Jesus was talking about was the word of the kingdom of heaven. Today that seed is the gospel the good news of salvation by the atoning blood of Jesus. That we can be saved by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. Some hear this word and it means nothing to them and the enemy comes and takes it away. That's the seed that falls on the way side that old ground thats hard packed cold and dead. Then some of the seed. the word of the gospel falls on stoney places they will hear it and understand it and even believe it and it temporarily makes them feel good but it never takes root it's a shallow belief. It never grows into saving faith. When hard times come. They say well I tried going to church and all that stuff but it didn't do anything for me. Then the seed can fall among the thorns. The thorns are the cares of this world. Making money and buying things. Going here and there. Entertainment and satisfying the flesh with anything it wants. Neglecting the things of the spirit. The things of God.so the the seed of the word of the good news of salvation gets choked out. It never produces. But when the seed falls on the good ground it's taken in. It puts down strong roots. The rain comes and it drinks it in. It flourishes in the sun it grows and produces a crop that bears fruit. It's what the sower intended. Sometimes the Lord has to plow the stoney ground that old hard packed ground sometimes he has to clear them old brier patches and overgrown tangles in order to sow his seed. Hard times and tuff living are a blessing sometimes. It could be the Lord clearing and plowing your ground getting it ready to sow his seed. The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord

Not one day goes by that I don’t need his mercy. Stumbling and falling but forever crawling to the cross.

We had a great day in the Lord! One saved & baptized and 3 others baptized. Praise the Lord! Thanks to everyone that came & everyone that helped. It was a good day at the river.

Baptism July 26 . We have two men getting baptized. We would like to see more. We will have a short meeting at the church at 11:00 then go on down to the river at the end of hwy 39 at the boat ramp. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and are trusting him as your savior but have never been baptized this Is a good opportunity. Or maybe you have heard that small voice calling for you to come to the Lord but have been putting it off .Just be thinking about it and praying on it we We will have something to good eat afterwards and plenty to drink. We ask that everyone will pray for people to come give their life to Jesus. Lord willing we have good weather and the river won't get up. Please share.

This Sunday we started off by reading what Jesus said in John 6:63 He said the words I speak unto you are they are spirit and they are life. Then in collisions 3:16 It says let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another in Psalms and hymns and spiritual songs singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord . The point of the message is . It matters what we say. It matters what words we repeat. It matters what words we let come into our spirit man. In John 3 Jesus told Nicodemus you must be born again of the spirit. And we know that our battle is not against flesh and blood but it's fought against the powers and princepalaties of darkness spiritual wickedness in high places. What words we speak into our spirit matters. We know we have this enemy that's trying to take us down. It wars against our spirit our minds our health and well being. So why help our enemy by handing it more ammunition to destroy us.. Proverbs 18:21 Death and life are in the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit there of. We don't need to speak bad things into someone else's life either. Like he never was no good and never will be. But the point is this we are no longer are to sing the blues all the time. Oh my back is killing me this morning. Child you just don't understand . If we are hurting or in some other kind of destress ask for prayer and take it to the foot of the cross. But don't just keep on speaking negative words into your spirit. Here is another topic we talked about . I've said it I've heard others say it. I'm just an old sin sick sinner saved by grace. The Bible does not call us sinners after we have been saved we are becoming saints. Struggling saints but saint just the same. We call ourselves sinners we are speaking defeat into our spirit. if I'm just an old sinner anyway I might as well continue in my sins.But if I'm a saint under construction that puts a whole different outlook on me . The Bible calls us saints not sinners we are set apart. Romans 37 we are more than conquers through him that Loves us. Thank you Lord for your word in Jesus name Amen.

We had a good meeting this morning. Today our message was on being truly free in Jesus Christ. The freedom he offers is true freedom in so many ways. I wish more people could have heard the message the Lord brought this morning. The Lord Jesus Christ is so good. All I can say is Thank you Lord..
