As you know, one of our partners is our friends in Haiti!🇭🇹 Unfortunately there has not been any access to their country for quite some time which means they are often forgotten when it comes to getting support.

Today we are reaching out with a need, the school is in need of $1200 dollars a month, or 24 people committing to giving $50 a month, about $50 per student!🤩

🌟MEMBER MONDAY🌟

As you know we’ve been highlighting Haiti as they’re in need of support and today we’re highlighting one of Haiti’s own🇭🇹

We get to hear from Edner Veus who is the Administrator of the Human Care School in Haiti!

Here is his story🤩

Edner Veus has served as Heart of the Bride’s partner in Mare-Rouge, Haiti since 2007. He is married to the lovely Rosena who is a wonderful nurse, cook, singer, worship leader, and mother to their energetic 4 children: 3 boys and a girl.

Edner grew up in Northwest Haiti with many of the struggles that our students face. But God provided a Godly place for him to live and the opportunity to continue studying after high school where he earned a degree in Agronomy. He met our founder, Tony Gibson, in 2006 when he served as an interpreter for the team. As he shared his heart for the children of Northwest Haiti, it was soon obvious that God was putting him together with HOB for a reason. In 2007, the Human Care School was born in partnership with HOB.

Edner serves as the Administrator of the Human Care School where he oversees the education, discipleship, and care of over 200 students. The school consistently ranks among the top schools in its area with a very high graduation rate. Many of the graduates of the school live locally, work in the community, and serve in their churches. Two former students have returned to teach in the school.

Edner and the Human Care School are shining lights of hope in the middle of a country shrouded by political chaos and violence.

We get to start hearing from the amazing staff of Eagles Christian Academy in Kithianio, Kenya. First up is Jonathan Kyalo, who is the Principal. Get to know him & his story below ⬇️
